The Business Excellence Forums is a global series of 2 day workshops designed to deliver the best, most effective and highest ROI business strategies to business owners and entrepreneurs, their teams, their clients and customers. The Business Excellence Awards was created to recognise the 'Best of the Best' in the business world; the awards ceremony honours the achievements and accomplishments of business owners and professionals from around the world.

6. How many Business Excellence Award competitions are there?

There are currently five Business Excellence Award competitions worldwide: USA, Canada, Australia, Indonesia and the EMEA region.

8. How long has the Business Excellence Award been in existence?

The Business Excellence Awards were founded in 2011 in the United States and the EMEA awards launched in the UK in 2012.

9. What do finalists and winners receive?

Finalists will be selected from among all entries by the Business Excellence Forum Panel of judges chaired by ActionCOACH, and Finalists will receive a recognition certificate. Winners of each category will be presented with a trophy during the Business Excellence Awards ceremony at the prestigious black-tie dinner.

10. Who can enter to win?

Any commercial or not-for- profit organisation can enter to win. The finalists must be present at the Business Excellence Awards ceremony to be eligible to win.

11. Are there entry fees to enter to win a Business Excellence Award?

The Business Excellence Awards are funded exclusively by entry fees and sponsorship. The administration fee to enter an award category is only £25 and this fee is waived for any organisation booking one or more places at the Business Excellence Forum.

12. Are entry forms kept confidential?

Yes. The organisers ensure that only authorised judges will review entries, and that information about nominees is not released to anyone else without prior approval.

13. Will the awards ceremony be filmed?

Yes, the awards ceremony will be filmed. The presentations will be made available on the ActionCOACH YouTube channel.

14. What's the nearest train station?

ACC Liverpool is a 20-minute walk from Lime Street or a short taxi ride. You can also transfer at Lime Street onto the underground Wirral Line trains to James Street station (10-minute walk) or catch the CityLink bus which runs every 12 minutes as a circular service around the city centre and stops at both Liverpool Lime Street and ACC Liverpool. If travelling from outside Merseyside, you can catch an underground train to James Street station from Lime Street, inclusive in the cost of your ticket.

15. What's the nearest Airport?

Liverpool John Lennon Airport features low-cost and charter flights to domestic, European and International destinations. Manchester Airport, just 45 minutes away, brings even more domestic and international destinations within reach.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) is one of the UK’s top 10 busiest airports and handled over 4.5 million passengers in 2012. Passenger numbers have increased ten-fold since the mid-1990s. It features flights to approximately 75 destinations in the UK and across Europe.

Airlines at JLA include two of Europe’s largest low cost airlines, easyJet and Ryanair, both of whom have large bases at JLA. A taxi from the airport to the city centre will take approximately 20 minutes or the express bus service Route 500 will take approximately 25 minutes, dropping you off within a five-minute walk of ACC Liverpool
